Blaine Hummel-Anderson || Stay at Home Dad/Cafe Owner || New York || Married to: Kurt Hummel || Taken
Blaine found it tough graduating high school. Having Kurt so far away was always going to be hard, even more so when he was the one who’d given him the placement that had allowed him to go. There still would have been a place for Kurt next year, but Blaine couldn’t let him waste his talents in Lima. But when Kurt leaving combined with a tense home life and a group of bullies intent on pushing the Glee club back to the bottom… Blaine got hit pretty damn hard. Especially when the distance proved too much and he and Kurt broke up. He somehow muddled through and his academics along with his teachers providing glowing appraisals earned a scholarship to NYU where he majored in music and life started to get just that little bit better for him. With his friends behind him and a job at his regular coffee shop Blaine was finally able to ditch his dad’s negative influence and really be himself. He became a favorite at the shop and when the owner died out of the blue he was completely shocked to find the small business left to him in his final year of college.
He would alternate his time between college and the shop, working as a barista whenever he had a free morning, creating events like open mic nights (at which he was a frequent favorite), as well as running the finances and keeping up with his course but it was during that period the a rushing Kurt Hummel stumbled into his shop on one of the few shifts where he worked as a barista. They agreed to catch up and then to hang out. They were friends before they started dating. They could be that again and Kurt had a boyfriend after all. But this time it was Blaine who spent his time pining after Kurt. Doodling hearts all over his lecture notes and no one else could fit the bill because no one was as good as Kurt. And then one night he was there and he’d broken up with his boyfriend and everything just fell into place. It was only a year later and Blaine was on one knee and Kurt had a ring on his finger and it’s almost as though the gap had never been there. Blaine had never been happier. It took abither two years before the ceremony happened, their family and friends all gathered in New York for the perfect celebration of their love. Fast forward to now and they live above Blaine’s coffee shop with their twin daughters. Eliza and Mazie Hummel-Anderson were worth the struggle to adopt and now their family seems oh so perfect. So what now? Blaine now spends most of his time raising their girls and running his business from upstairs. He works in the shop when he can but to him family comes first.
