Rachel and Sam reconnected when she got cast as a lead villaness in Broadway’s newest comic book adaptation. Upon entering the comic book store nearest the theater to read up on her character, she ran smack dab into Samuel Evans. It hadn’t taken very long for her to tell him why she was there, and it didn’t take him very long to tell her that it was his comic that was being adapted. Of course, it only made sense for Rachel to insist that Sam help her, and a southern gentleman never turns down a lady. Soon enough, their discussions about the comic turned into more, dinner after dinner and Sam had barely worked up the courage to ask Rachel for more than a business level relationship when she leaned over the dinner table and kissed him one night. It was fate after that, and even through one very short, very stupid breakup, they made it and were married just before she found out she was pregnant with their son, Logan Anthony.
Both Rachel and Sam wanted more than one child, and early last year, they agreed to start trying for another one as soon as Logan was potty trained. They succeeded very quickly, but when Rachel was 3 1/2 months along, she suffered a violent miscarriage. She’s still in recovery, mentally at least, and working on her autobiography while she takes a break from recording her first album.
